Aroma is granny smith, yeast, straw and some barn Starts of with lots of carbo and biscuity malt flavour before turning to a nice dry tartness with light sour acidic notes. Simple but effective. leaparsons (4730), Leicester, Leicestershire, England

Bam! Goes the cork! Big pop and a gush and we have a frothy whipped egg head over a hazy yellow body.
Leather, rose and lemon play together in the aroma.
Fruity, funky flavor.
Dry finish. A bit thin bodied. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

The flavor contains some funk and a lot of peach flavors. The mouthfeel is very carbonated. Pretty good one. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 27, 2006 750 ml bottle opened with force. Lightly hazy and effervescent lemon straw body with a large soapy white head. Pleasant peppery aroma with abundant fresh wheat, plus lime zest and floral notes. Rich, earthy, and nutty wheat and base malt flavor with emerging clove and menthol phenols, and light acidity. Medium bitter finish enhanced by a nicely dry palate. Quaffable, elegant and seemingly very authentically styled saison. I want more of this.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 9, 2006 750-ml. bottle, 2004 vintage. Semi-translucent, pale and bright dulled yellow in color with a creamy, beady white foam head that retains well on top. Aroma has plenty of coriander and lemon zest, yielding bright crescent roll traits. Tangerines and guillotined wheat fields aromatically transpire to field mice trucking through French bakeries. Easy going flavor refreshment gives off candied lemon chews and subtly tart lemonheads. Dry, bitter front is amplified by coriander, later becoming a host of peels (lemon, lime, tangerine, etc.) Bittersweet synchronicity. Sea green and lemony tea leaves break the light candi barrier, while mild cotton seeds germinate freely. Effervescence meets up with spruced coriander and overpowers the light bakery sweetness. Green guava and mint leaves tingle in the finish, alongside a tart lemon trait performance. GonZoBeeR (2161), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada
