Hazy orange color with a large head. Slight yeast aroma with a solid hit of spice. Mild wheat taste with hops and more spice to finish. Moderately thick. Well balanced. That’s a pretty tasty Saison... coming from someone who doesn’t seem to care for the style.

lively yet quiet pour that led to a massive white head, which diminished fast enough; golden yellow body, active; notes of hay, grassiness, lemon, some spice, reminiscent of weizen; tart, dry, fizzy creaminess; good brew.

Pours a clear bright effervescent golden with a frothy, well-lacing white head. Semi-sweet Belgian malty and grassy, floral, yeasty aroma. First taste is lightly sweet, balanced with a semi-tart earthy spice. Finishes dry and lightly warming with nice character and authenticity overall.

750ml 2.004 on cork. Pours a huge off-white head over lite, cloudy, straw colored ale. No lacing. Sweet nose with dank overtones of yeast, staw, and frsh cut grass. There is very fine sediment. The taste is great! Very dry and somewhat acidic, with hints of lemon and chamomile tea. The mouthfeel is a little over the top in carbonation. The yeast is starting to form a small yellow pile in the bottom of the tulip. All and all this was a very enjaoyable, refreshing, and relativly cheap beer experience.

Seeminly fresh-esque bottle with a 2005 cork: Pale blonde, hazy with some small chunks of white stuff, good snap when the cork came out, no gushing but a nice effervescent pour.Smells like a nice warm summer day in a forest downwind from a marble quarry or something, Sort of chalky texture with flavors of chamomile and lemon balm on a spritzy, refreshing blonde ale frame. Sort of extreme but I like it alot!

Stupendously carbonated, I am barely able to pour an inch and a half of beer before my glass is filled with a frothy meringue consistency, pale, off-white head. The beer is a lightly hazy straw gold color. The aroma is spicy and herbal with notes of grass, fresh cut basil and perhaps a hint of chive even. The spices and herbs sit atop a solid dry grain character. As expected the beer is quite spritzy and frothy as it hits my mouth. The taste is dry with a touch of tartness, which is reminiscent of limes. This finishes with a sharp pepper note that is joined by the piquancy of ginger. This beer is quite light on the palate, and is quite quenching in a perfectly lazy, hot afternoon kind of way.

Other flavors that dance across my tongue are fleeting notes of clove, a hayfield sort of graininess, . The finish has a nice herbal hop bite / astringency and bitterness to it. I must admit that I am quite enjoying this beer, it has a perfect mix of dry graininess, slight tartness, spicy sharpness, and astringent bitterness in the finish to be a great beer to drink, or even quaff for an evening, or even day if you prefer.

Hazy yellow with a huge head.Deliciously spicy nose with citrus and yeast. Acidic notes as well. Flavour starts sweet with a very complex yeastiness that makes a dry finish. Good carbonation. An extraordinary saison.
