Jul 15, 2009 Opaque, golden, coppery carbonated beer with a foamy head that stays around.
Citric sourish nose with typical Belgian yeastiness. Some grain and spiciness... cumin and perpper I think. Almost meaty. Pineapple without any sugar.
Really salty with an interesting balance between sourness and bitterness. Citric, sharp and crispy. Reminds me of the more seriously sour krieks.
Interesting beer. Might have been nicer with a liiiittle bit mor sweetness.

Jun 12, 2009 My first saison. 25cl Bottle. Very hazy golden with minimal white head.Malty and yeasty aroma with a citric touch. Malty flavor with some caramel, lemon and a touch of grass.An excellent refreshing drink.

Jun 3, 2009 Cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma of yeast and grain and earth. Flavor is soft and subtle citrus, mildly sweet, yeast and fruit. Tasty.

May 29, 2009 From Gollem in Amsterdam, bottle? - Pours hazy gold with a lingering white head. It smells of pale malt and fruit. Flavors include the sweet malt up front with very well balanced, mild, earthy hops joined by spices and some farmhouse character. It’s medium bodied and so drinkable.

Slightly hazy gold, healthy frothy head. Pleasant light grainy aroma. Some ripe light fleshy fruits too. Pleasant carbonation, fruity retronasals in the mouth. Body is mostly light grains, but there’s a lovely almost blonde-like crisp and sharp bitterness accompanying that. Finish is a soft mirror of the taste, but not dull. With more yeast it gets a little yeastier, muddier, and perhaps more ’organic’. I can imagine this being a good stepping stone to assist people towards belgian blondes. Not a big wow, but with no flaws.

Apr 18, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy golden body with a creamy onefinger off-white head. Very fruity aroma with spicy notes and also wheat as well as hops. The mouthfeel is very lively and highly carbonated. Flavour is hoppy bitter with some citric and fruity notes. Peach and wheat. It ends up hoppy and quite dry.
