Bottle pours cloudy amber wheat with a fluffy white head. Nose is full of fruity banana yeast esters and some spicy, peppery fruit. Slightly sweet, very effervescent, bubbly, light, pillowy on the palate, then turning more sharp and finishing with a slight bite. Very light but very delicious.

Plenty of citrus in the nose, especially when cold. Becomes more expressive as it warms offering some barnyard, sweet grassy hay, floral and spicy notes and an underlying sweet fruitiness. Very hazy, almost opaque yellow blonde body is topped by a decent, fine bubbled white head that recedes slowly to a lasting cover with plenty of lacing on the sides of the glass. Biscuity and lightly grainy malts blend with plenty of citrus and tropical fruit with spicy, floral and haylike hops notable in the aftertaste. Bitterness while quite pronounced is never the focus. Medium body with a creamy texture and pleasantly prickly effervescence. Sweet er and bit more full bodied than their bench-mark Vieille Provision but excellent in its own right. Thanks to Gerry for bringing this special treat to BC so that we can enjoy it this summer. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle (Brewery Creek, May-08).

Bottle. Dry hay/barnyard and lemon aroma. Cloudy yellow-orange with giant white head. Sweet-sour lemon, hay, wheat malt flavor with a light bitter finish. Very nice.

"Crown top" bottle: Golden-amber hue, fair cap moderate effervescence. Aroma of fruits and some light spice and biscuit Flavor is bright: fruity, spicy hoppy light grainy malts dry-spritzy finish. Not whatyou’d expecting from an intense saison but as decent malty truncated rendition...this may be really decent in the unfiltered bottle

Hazy orange colour, firm white head. Fruity, yeasty, little funky. Hoppy notes. Refreshing with a dry end.

Ottima impressione, assaggiata alla spina dal bicchiere di un amico. Grande connubio fra una buona e rinfrescante piacevolezza e discreta complessità.

Bottle, Beers of Europe. Bottle. Pours a thin gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus and spices. Flavour is sweet, with some citrus and shades of acidicness. Some dryness in the finish. Refreshingly drinkable enough but no gold stars.

25cl. bottle at home: Pours a nice rich gold that is just lightly hazy. The lively carbonation causes the tall creamy white head to continue growing out of the glass. Aromas of yeast, freshly baked banana nut muffins, hay (hops?) and cloves. A little amount of must becomes noticeable after a while. Flavor is surprisingly malty (biscuity) upfront. This leads into some dried summer fruits and grassy, flat hops. Yeast and some tartness play around with the hops while the malt stays slightly to the side. Just a touch of cardboard is wandering around. In the finish the bready malt comes back and rides through the end with some of the hops laying on top.
