Commercial Description:
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

pours a murky yellow with a nice white head. Notes of lemon, grass, cloves, and some nonoffensive skunkyness. Flavor has some light bitterness. smooth with a dry finnish. Refreshing. pretty decent and i would drink this again. Some subtle aromas and flavors. No big punch. nice on a hot day though

Bottle. Golden colour with a long lasting thick white head. Spicy aroma with notes of pepper, lemon and hops. The flavour is slightly sweet, spicy, citric and hoppy with malty notes. Finish is dryish, medium body. Very nice, refreshing brew.

Bottle at HEB.Aroma was a lot of funk but in a good way. Almost like socks but in a very interesting way with some fruit.Had a massive 3 or 4 finger head and was very cloudy.Taste was funk, fruit, peppery wood & a dry aftertaste.I would like to drink more.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Poured a really lovely golden yellow with lively carbonation and a solid white head that held. The aroma is an easy indicator of what’s to come in the flavor. The carbonation and the tart dryness (lemons, orange, paprika) of this beer make it incredibly refreshing on a hot summer night.

On tap at Stone. Nice gold color with a cap of thick white froth. Subtle spicy aroma, cloves and pepper, lemons, and grain. Flavor is similar with a grainy base, lemony wheat notes, and a dry, peppery finish. Perfect balance and interplay between flavors are what make this the quintessential saison. Refreshing and drinkable.

Poured a bold rocky white head with a very pale golden body that produced significant lacing. Aroma hinted toward funk, but was rather sweet and mellow, banana, orange, lemon zest, pear, pepper, and a little woody. Flavor was sweet lemony pepper, a tease of funk, floral, and slightly woody. Altogether light, quite subtle and thirst quenching

Enjoyed this bottle, I like the style for Belgians, nice overall taste. Some maltyness and also the Belgian sweetness. Slightly Cloudy Golden with fair head but no lacing. Finishes nicely

Pours slightly cloudy straw-orange into the glass, with a huge frothy head that retains well and leaves nice sudsy lace. Immediately, the nose hits me of extreme earth notes, with hints at of burning rubber (exactly that of a pencil eraser that has been overused, and still warm from the friction). Very pilsner-esque so far. The flavors come nicely, some lemon, hops, silo grains and dry spices. Everything integrates well, with a touch of pepper toward the finish to pull everything together. The mouthfeel is very easy-drinking with decent carbo levels. Not my particular style of choice, but the rating is not based on my likeness; rather, my appreciation for the offering. Good job for a saison.... almost an impy pils imho.
