Pleasant fruity and spicy saison with notes of orange peel, coriander and light acidic lemony hints. Slightly bitter finish. Refreshing one. SorenE (122), , New Zealand

Aroma anormally skunk which makes me think that this bottle has suffered a bit from light exposure. Quite fruity and citusy. Taste was also a bit strange as we did not taste any spices. I will have to rerate this beer. Rating #73
750ml bottle. Poured nice yellow with huge white fluffy head. Amazing look. Aroma is skunk at first (too much light I presume) but this fades off quickly. After that, its spices, hints of bubble gum, quite grassy and wet and barn yard maybe.. not sure what that is exactly !. Taste is spicy, citrusy, bubble gum and a bit bitter on the finish. Palate is quite carbonated, very nice mouthfeel. Awesome beer. Aroma 7 to 8, App 3 to 4, Flavor 7 to 8, Pal 3 to 5, Over 16 to 14. DerBiermeister (524), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Mar 23, 2009 Though expensive, it’s not worth it. Though Belgian, there is WAY too much French influence in this beer and not enough German. VERY disappointing, though I may be in the minority in saying this. Some other people trying it liked it OK. The aftertaste is quite bitter and dry and unpleasant, while generally being boring. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2009 2009 Bottle. Likely to be my least favorite Belgian ale. Aroma of a surprising amount of hops with some sweetness, due to ABV. Pours a dark gold, but the head is remarkably large, regardless of how carefully poured. Takes a lot of time for the head to dissipate, which makes the drinking process difficult. The flavor is surprisingly hoppy and not complex enough compared to other Belgian ales. Sadly, I was disappointed by this beer. Go with Duvel, Leffe Blonde, or Victory Golden Monkey. grandgenie (252), gatineau, Quebec, Canada
