Commercial Description:
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

750ml bottle shared by matt7215 at our second KW group tasting. Thanks Matt! Pours a beatiful straw gold, hazy with a lot of white head. Aroma: Skunk, but in a good way, Tums, powdered sugar, Bretty goodness, very dry and yeasty. Flavour: Really nice malty body to all the above mentioned aspects, very sweet but with some awesome bitter hoppy balance in the finish. Comes across astringent with that Bretty spritzy lemon lime up front characteristic that I love so much. Refreshing. Awesome stuff! Multy-layered yet simple and tasty at the same time. An awesome beer, thanks Matt for sharing!

Golden pour. Aroma is fruity, taste is slightly bitter with a barleywine mouthfeel. I could use more taste by far. Does not have a barleywine alcohol taste but finishes easy.

750 mL bottle. Cloudy, dirty blonde pour with and enormous frothy white head. Aroma of yeast and barnyard. Taste of yeast, dry hops and some sugar. Nice lasting finish.

375ml bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with big rocky white head and great lacing. Nose is spice, Belgian yeast/bread and sugar. Palate is yeast upfront with a touch of sugary honey, spices and a slightly dry citrus hop finish. As the Phoenix days heat up, I’ll be drinking more of this. Nice and refreshing brew.

750ml. bottle from Trinity Liquors in Spring Hill, FL. Pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is very grassy, kind of like marijuana. Some florals. Flavor is also very grassy...some citrus and some herbs that I cant put my finger on. Nasty sticky mouthfeel but it goes down easy. But I hate the mouthfeel. Overall....this just didnt do it for me. Not a big fan.

Light orange pour with a big head. Aroma of straw and butterscotch. Flavor is pretty much the same with a strange grass flavor in there too. Not a big fan.

750ml bottle. Pours light-orange with a massive bubbly head and lots of carbonation. The nose is all skunk and funk with a little yeast. Taste is of cloves, yeast, and funky earth. Finish is a bit metallic and skunky. It’s medium bodied in the mouth, and the spice and slight hop taste hit the back of the mouth. I was looking forward to this, but really underwhelmed by the taste. A disappointment.
