Commercial Description:
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

Bottle. Cloudy dark straw color. Medium sized floats are visible, particularly as I got to the bottom of the bottle. Huge white head. Spicy, sour nose mixes yeast with hops. Flavors of sourdough, lemons, bananas, and grasses. Very well balanced and easy to drink. Lots of carbonation gives ia very clean palate. Great stuff.

Bottle, nice fruit aroma slight skunk from the green bottle, Nice cloudy color with a thick white head, that dissipates slowly. Nice malts and hops a great balance and yeast is enjoyable but not overbearing against the alcohol or the texture. Very nice and easily drinkable.

(Bottle). Fruity aroma, inviting and pleasant. Orange golden color with a huge head that quickly dissipates. Flavor is fruity and somewhat sweet, mild but complex. Very enjoyable and refreshing.

Pours hazy golden orange with fluffy white head. Aromas are dominated by earthy hops and spice with some citrus notes evident. Palate displays an abundance of earthy hop notes and yeaty dry spices. Carbonation is rather lively, adding to the dry profile. Finishes dry with a feint touch of sourness. A classic!

750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy golden yellow color with a big foamy white head. Aroma is of spices and (stealing from previous rater) funky citrus. Taste is citrusy, dry, and I think there is some banana in there. Interesting brew.

Bottle purchased at Beertopia, in Omaha, NE. Pours a glowing golden-amber with a pillowy white head that leaves behind delicate lace. The nose features nice, dry, lightly funky citrus, faint candy sugar and a drier mineral finish. Medium-bodied, soft and wheaty with a mildly dry soft mineral finish. The flavor is a beautiful blend of fruity pear, apple and light citrus with a subtle mineral note rounding out the flavor profile. This is, quite possibly, a "perfect" saison.

Bottle. Aroma of yeast, light colored fruits, and cobwebs. Hazy orange-yellow hue with a large foamy white head that mostly diminished and left fantastic lace. Flavor is spicy, sweet and a little sour on the finish. Palate is medium bodied and lively. Not bad for a belgium brew.

Bottle 0.75 l, Kaisla. Cloudy hayish yellow with fizzy and persistent lacing head. Nose is slightly musty, ripe apples, hay, malts, grapefruit, barnyard, spices, ginger. Served way too cold, so nose is not very strong. Flavor is refreshing, malts, applepie with vanilla, hay, more over ripe apples, grapefruit, ginger, some spiciness. Extremely flavorful, yet refreshing. Dry, hoppy.. smooth. Everything.
