Pours a glowing golden-amber with a pillowy white head that leaves behind delicate lace. The nose features nice, dry, lightly funky citrus, faint candy sugar and a drier mineral finish. Medium-bodied, soft and wheaty with a mildly dry soft mineral finish. The flavor is a beautiful blend of fruity pear, apple and light citrus with a subtle mineral note rounding out the flavor profile. This is, quite possibly, a "perfect" saison. polomagnifico (535), Saginaw, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of yeast, light colored fruits, and cobwebs. Hazy orange-yellow hue with a large foamy white head that mostly diminished and left fantastic lace. Flavor is spicy, sweet and a little sour on the finish. Palate is medium bodied and lively. Not bad for a belgium brew. raymondwave (878), Finland
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 23, 2008 Bottle 0.75 l, Kaisla. Cloudy hayish yellow with fizzy and persistent lacing head. Nose is slightly musty, ripe apples, hay, malts, grapefruit, barnyard, spices, ginger. Served way too cold, so nose is not very strong. Flavor is refreshing, malts, applepie with vanilla, hay, more over ripe apples, grapefruit, ginger, some spiciness. Extremely flavorful, yet refreshing. Dry, hoppy.. smooth. Everything. otakuden (518), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 22, 2008 Quite simply, life is beautiful whenever I have a Saison Dupont in my hand. Neither too heavy nor too light, resplendent with perfectly balanced spice and citrus flavors which are held together by a sweet and sour yeast backbone, Saison Dupont will always be a first love for me and is always welcome in my bar.
Pours a rich cloudy orange, reminiscent of a winter’s sunset as I sit lazily in my chair and take in both views. Yeasty spice and old socks along with bitter citrus and coriander jump up and bite me in the nose. A wake up call to say “Hey. You know you want me so here I am”. Not one to neither deprive myself nor turn down a request from a Saison Dupont, I gladly take a quaff, then two. Nice light effervescence which helps to hide the slightly heavy body. The effervescence lends a thicker yet smooth mouthfeel which finishes with a sour citrus and spiced dry finish. A bit of orange peel later on in the palate as my Saison warms, with the spice kicking itself up a notch. Some coriander, maybe even a hint of pepper. Excellent finish – clean and crisp with just enough pucker to leave me craving more.
She is a new Saison, 2008, and it will be interesting to see how she mellows in a year or two. Very crisp, refreshing, and ripe with sour yeast, spice, coriander, and bitter citrus notes. I feel she will mellow a bit and blend together for an even smoother saison beer experience. kempicus (350), Wellington, New Zealand

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Small bottle. Pours a very cloudy bright orange/yellow with a tall white head. I found the aroma to be super cheesy with funk, far away goats, and a quick fading dash of skunk and mulch. Again, lots of cheese is presented in the flavor. This is floral and juicy, yet slightly puckering in the finish. I had this while camping on the beach and boy is it refreshing. It’s a wild and deeply nuanced beer, yet approachable by any aspiring connoisseur. fata2683 (914), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Hazy and cloudy out of the bottle with a little bit of yeast sediment. This is refreshingly dry with a very good grain/bread flavor followed by a grassy hop undertone. Nice! Borresteijn (1439), Amsterdam, Netherlands
