Aug 21, 2008 Small bottle. Pours a very cloudy bright orange/yellow with a tall white head. I found the aroma to be super cheesy with funk, far away goats, and a quick fading dash of skunk and mulch. Again, lots of cheese is presented in the flavor. This is floral and juicy, yet slightly puckering in the finish. I had this while camping on the beach and boy is it refreshing. It’s a wild and deeply nuanced beer, yet approachable by any aspiring connoisseur.

Aug 21, 2008 Hazy and cloudy out of the bottle with a little bit of yeast sediment. This is refreshingly dry with a very good grain/bread flavor followed by a grassy hop undertone. Nice!

Aug 20, 2008 Bottle @ Café De Paas, DH. Cloudy yellow colour, big white head. Aroma of yeast, bit sour fruits, malts. Flavour is dry, fruity, a bit sour apples, hoppy finish. Very tasty and refreshing beer.

Aug 17, 2008 Bottle, 2007, perhaps July or August? Aroma earthy with grassy hops and faint light fruits. Flavor quite sweet and more robustly fruity, lots of oranges and reds. Very nice, even a year old, gotta try this one fresh.

Aug 16, 2008 Bottle, bottled 7/8/2007 (I think...well I’m sure about the 2007). Anyway, pours a cloudy orange with a huge thick white head. Aroma starts off a bit skunky with some stale wheat but becomes fruity by the end. Flavor is quite fruity: lots of melon, melon rind, lemon. Initial sharp spices followed by a slightly bitter and dry finish. Nice sourness from the lemon notes. Quite delicious. A top notch saison.

Aug 14, 2008 Updated: Aug 15, 2008Clear gold with a large white head. Scent is musty, cheesy, peppery. Flavor sweet but very dry and bitter, with citrus and grapes. Full bodied and well-carbonated, this is a good beer, but one that I don’t enjoy it so much.

Aug 11, 2008 Pours deep golden opaque/cloudy orange with a fluffy/billowing white head. Aroma is yeasty and citrus sweet with a surprising kick of hops! Flavor is sweet citrus, yeast and herbs. Finishes with a nice kick of yeast in the sinus and a dry hoppy throat. Medium body with great lacing. Definitely my favorite Saison!
