Commercial Description:
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

Rating #100. I let the gf choose between this and London Porter for #100 - 12 oz. bottle from John’s Grocery (Iowa City, IA). Pours a very hazy straw yellow color with a substantial white head. Aromas are of belgian yeast, citrus, spices, a touch of grassiness, and bit of sweetness. Initial taste is light, with a bit of sweet citrus, spiciness, and a dryness that is it’s most noticeable characteristic. It really does taste like a barn smells (A concept I never understood before). Dry bitter finish that I really like followed by a slightly sweet mellow aftertaste. Complex yet was able to grasp it. A great beer to discover on #100. Cheers all!

375ml bottle. Clear straw yellow with a huge rocky head. Dusty yeasty and grassy hoppy aroma with some honey malt sweetness. Dry and peppery spiced flavor. Dusty yeast with light malt sweetness and a slightly soapy, hoppy finish. High carbonation with a lighter body. Its pretty nice stuff, and quite refreshing and flavorful without being overbearing.

Poured a hazy straw color into the glass. Nice billowy white head. Smell was some barnyard, little citrus and spice. Taste was much the same, true to style, nice hint of funk and earthy hops on the finish. Very well balanced. well done.

Dark, yellowish brown in color. Thick, bubbly head. Average aroma, nothing special. Nice, balanced hoppy taste. Solid beer, but not really my style.

The beer pours a hazy yellow color. It has a thick white head made up of tiny little bubbles. The nose is a dusty mix of spice yeast and hops. The mouth feel is highly carbonated. The taste is a sweet mix of spice with a very forward flavor of acidic lemon. The finish is a dry sweetness that is somewhat lingering. A great example of this beer style.

Hazy yellow coloured bere with average white head. Smoky hoppy and malty aroma. Fulle sweet palate. Ending is balanced, little hoppy and some bitterness in the background.

Trade from Ross, thanks! Pours a hazy straw color with huge pillowy head. Aroma is of brett, light yeast funkiness and mild citrus flavors. Taste is a bit lighter then the St. Somewhere I had and became spoiled from having taste it. However, this is still good and worth the praise. Easy to drink and alcohol is well hidden. Excellent saison.
