Hazy, slightly orange pour with a whipped cream head. Lots of sediment, even early on in the pour. Lots of horseblanket and a tad sour. I imagine that the lactobaccillious working. Highly enjoyable, would try again. BeerEssential (96), Massachusetts, USA

Long lasting foamy head. Crisp, fruity scent which matches it’s taste. Crisp, clean with a gentle hoppiness. I have to admit my expectations are tainted by this beer’s reputation, but it is very nicely done. A bottle of this would be great to bring to a summer BBQ. leftarmover (8), Alberta, Canada does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2008 Pours cloudy orange with a large white head, lacing the glass as you drink. orange citrus, sharp spiciness and musty farmhouse yeast, bit of sweetness. A full mouth rolled around effervesces into lots of prickly CO2, highly carbonated beer. Wet grass hops (stale?). Very good summer refresher. hoplover406 (204), Crofton, Maryland, USA

Very enjoyable and flavorful and easy to drink. Cloudy golden yellow with a ginormous head. Fruity, spicey, yeasty and only slightly funky. Very lively, light refreshing and tart. Damn good beer. The nose is yeast, floral and citrus. The flavor is tangy citrus, with yeast and spices. A pleasant beer. mmmbeer (765), Austin, Texas, USA

Hits the mouth with a thin body, ALOT of spices with citrus on the tongue, finish is extremely dry. It might not be refreshing on a hot Texas day, but I WOULD NOT turn one down if offered. johndavidj99 (123), Township, Maine, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 3, 2008 Golden, almost the color of a wit bier with big white head. It initially smelled a little skunky when I opened the bottle. Later it was orange peel, spices and coriander. The taste is yeast, citrus, and spices while being slightly acidic (tart). A good Saison, but I am not a big fan of this style because of the yeast character. wcampbell (584), Central, South Carolina, USA

The taste is similar to a witbier, but slightly spicier. Medium bodied. Some tartness in the flavor and finish. Taste of yeast, wheat, and spices. Refreshing and easy to drink.
