Commercial Description:
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

Drank with jredmond. The taste is similar to a witbier, but slightly spicier. Medium bodied. Some tartness in the flavor and finish. Taste of yeast, wheat, and spices. Refreshing and easy to drink.

750mL bottle. Aroma is dominated by spice, some yeast and wheat follow. The beer pours a light hazy orange - similar to hoegarden or other respective witbiers. The taste is spice and wheat and yeast. Very good.

2007 Vintage.Pours a dark yellow, foamy head. Decent amount of fruit taste. Has a little spice but not too much. Wouldn’t buy again but would like to taste an older bottle that has aged more.

(75cl, bbe 8/2010) Hazy and pale golden yellow with nice white head. Nose begins citric and acidic cidery, later some pineapple and yeasty wheat. Flavor herbal and peppery with fresh wheaty maltiness. Finishes long and dry. Raw’ish yeast gets perhaps a little too overpowering when pouring in the sediment, but still the flavor develops a more spritzy citric quality with some berry-like aromas. Mouthfeel almost full bodied and intensely carbonated, making this an extremely refreshing, but still interesting beer. Would love to sample a little further aged bottle.

750 ML Bottle. Very nice pour with a great white head! Slightly hazy golden hue, with a feint aroma of fruits, citrus and a note of sour mash. Nice dry finish. Beautiful brew!

A good beer, it pours very carbonated with a large white head. The aroma is grassy with some tart fruit notes. It is yeasty with wheat and citrus notes. Not bad, but I did not care for the finish.

2007 bottle. murky gold color with a 2 finger white head. very sour, tart smell with some fruits as well. lemons and a little bit of spices yet very smooth on the palate. the carbonation isn’t too heavy and it has a good aftertaste.
