Pours a cloudy light amber with a little bit of sediment floating around. Fat bubbly white head that won’t go away. Smells apple, yeast, great fruity stuff. Flavor is a little similar with a crisp mouthfeel and a dry finish. Alcohol isn’t in the flavor but you can feel warmth in the finish. Everything comes together really well in this one, it reminds me of the last orval i had. Even though it’s not a fresh bottle i have to say this is some really good shit. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2007 THOUGHTS: I had been putting off trying this for some time. A nice beer. Not great, but way better than most saisons I’ve tried.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, medium to dark yellow with a huge rocky and creamy (almost like shaving cream), white head that just about fully lasts but eventually mostly diminishes and left excellent lacing in huge clumps in some spots. The aroma was lightly yeasty with grape, pear, peach and white wine. Very Fruity. The initial flavor was lightly to moderately sweet and moderately acidic, while the finish was moderately to heavily acidic and lightly to moderately bitter with an average duration. The flavor was very fruity then fairly yeasty. The light to medium body was dry and a little syrupy with fizzy carbonation and a lightly astringent and dry finish. puggy211 (591), cordova, Tennessee, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Pours a pale yellow color, almost like a macro, but is unfiltered and has an awesome creamy head that lasts throughout. Herbal scents, citrus, and spice making up aroma. Has a graininess and yeasty type flavors initially, with more subtleties similar to the aroma finishing off the taste, really put together well. Almost medium bodied, with lighter carbonation than expected. Really enjoyable beer, good for many occasions I’m sure. IEBAILI (123), San Diego, California, USA
