Almost took my eye out! Yikes. Classic saison. Solid flavor of spices, zesty lemon, and a farmhouse like dust. Fresh, lively, clean, and a stand up example of the style. A good place to start. thewolf (5827), Kolding, Denmark

A fairly large foamy white head on top. Flavour is spicy with a lightly sweet banana touch. Kind of lively mouthfeel. Quite dry flavours, with a light spiciness. A touch vinious. Okay in its balance with ginger, pepper and yeast in the finish. reddragon (28), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

Nice packaging, with an monumental head upon pour. Some sweetness in the palate, nice, clean finish. Wish I could find this more often. Bartzilla (445), San Diego, California, USA

Pleasant to drink, a cornucopia of flavors throughout and quite pleasing overall. One of the best in class. Metalhead (572), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA

Not much funk and not complex. The first half of the bottle was not as good as the 2nd which had a slightly creamy mouth feel. OK but nothing special. illinismitty (1800), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

Pours a hazy gold with a thick frothy head. Wonderful complex aroma of lemon rind, fresh hay, yeast, fruit. Very nice feathery and earthly texture, with a non-prickly carbonation. The flavor is so well-balanced between the malt, sweetness, dryness, and bitterness. Flavors that come out are lemon, yeast, spice, pineapple, bread, and herbal hops. Finish is semi-dry and yeasty. Not much sourness. A classic example of the style and not a huge palate killer. Pairs well with seafood or cheese. bhpaweski (1), Mesa, Arizona, USA does not count | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/20 | Nov 29, 2007 citrus, golden, clear, sparkling, frothy, white foam, medium sourness, light body, thin feel, lively, long finish,
