Poured a cloudy golden/yellow with a pure white foamy head. Lots of suspended yeasties floating around and lots of bubbles. Spicy hop aroma with a light malt scent in the background. The flavor is bitter and sour with a light tartness and there was a slight skunkiness. Medium body with very active carbonation and a dry finish. I think this bottle was a bit old and possibly light struck, would like another chance at a fresh bottle some time. Bloekie (163), Belgium

Flavor is really good and overwhelmingly refreshing. Palate isn’t altogether complicated. I really really enjoyed this beer.
This is what you would get when you mix a Geuze and a Tripel like La Chouffe together, I guess. Interesting. robertjm (407), El Cerrito, California, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 25, 2009 Updated: Sep 7, 2009foggy golden tangerine color, long lasting white foamy head, beautiful absolutely perfect aroma of fresh citrus, apple, orange blossoms draped over some very subtle horse funk, strong slightly edgy biters in the flavor, some excellent funk but very mild, very dry finish, no malt flavors or residual sugars left at all, buggy, this is a great beer, one of my favorites, just enough Brettanomyces to enhance the complexity of the flavor profile but not enough to spin it out of control, excellent product walrussell (117), , Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 19, 2009 Dry, but filled with sweet flavors - fruitiness and somehow, a sugar flavor without sweetness. A bit acidic, pretty - smells to much like the kind of beers I don’t like. Mild, but refreshing, and interesting enough to be a really nice beer. MagnumPI (56), Essex, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2009 The beer was poured for me in Lowlander Bar, with a perfect creamy thick head on an orangey lightly carbonated liquid. Great aroma of hops with a tangy dry first taste. After a long day this was an excellent start to the evening, with a flavour that accompanied steak and ale pie perfectly. It lasted well until the end as you would expect from a Saison. I would buy more of this ! Madsnp (626), Odense C, Denmark
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy straw golden coloured with a huge and lasting off white head with nice lacings. Aromas of barnyard, hay, flowers, spice and citrus fruits. Maybe a little smoke.. Smooth and mellow texture. Rich and fruity flavour with notes of grain, lemons, spice, grass, orange fruit and hops. Perfectly hopped brew. Cheaply bought greatness!
