Pours a hazy yellow color with a thick, frothy, white head. Amazing aroma of hops, spices, hay, flowers, barnyardt with fruity esters. The flavor is the same with an amazing blend of hops, barnyard, flowers, hay citrus and spices with a bitter finish. The body is full with a very smooth, pillowy, creamy texture and moderate to lively carbonation. Every Saison lover has to try this classic, simply amazing.

Aug 20, 2008 Bottle @ Café De Paas, DH. Cloudy yellow colour, big white head. Aroma of yeast, bit sour fruits, malts. Flavour is dry, fruity, a bit sour apples, hoppy finish. Very tasty and refreshing beer.

Aug 18, 2008 Very nice saison. Bready aroma. Lively head. Complex mix of sweet malt and sour yeast with a dry, slightly hoppy finish.

Aug 17, 2008 Bottle, 2007, perhaps July or August? Aroma earthy with grassy hops and faint light fruits. Flavor quite sweet and more robustly fruity, lots of oranges and reds. Very nice, even a year old, gotta try this one fresh.

Aug 16, 2008 Bottle, bottled 7/8/2007 (I think...well I’m sure about the 2007). Anyway, pours a cloudy orange with a huge thick white head. Aroma starts off a bit skunky with some stale wheat but becomes fruity by the end. Flavor is quite fruity: lots of melon, melon rind, lemon. Initial sharp spices followed by a slightly bitter and dry finish. Nice sourness from the lemon notes. Quite delicious. A top notch saison.

Aug 14, 2008 Updated: Aug 15, 2008Clear gold with a large white head. Scent is musty, cheesy, peppery. Flavor sweet but very dry and bitter, with citrus and grapes. Full bodied and well-carbonated, this is a good beer, but one that I don’t enjoy it so much.
