Commercial Description:
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

~Skunky, wet hay scent, some spiciness. ~Pours a cloudy orange with creamy white head. ~Some fruit in flavor with spice, pepper. ~Medium body, dry finish. ~Probably got an older bottle. Didn’t care too much for this.

Bottle, 375 mL. Hazy yellow pour with tons of floaters. Very carbonated and bubbly with a big white head. Smells like the Belgian farmhouse ale I was promised. Pepper, earth tones, grass, lemon. Taste is a nice bit of grape. Not as much bite in the flavor as I was expecting, but very easy to drink. Lemon/citrus in the taste as well. Very good.

375ml. Cloudy light orange with medium frothy head. Aroma of hay, ginger, yeast, light citrus fruit and some muskiness. Taste is lightly sweet throughout but ends with a nice bitterness, notes of green apple and musk. Palate is dry and has medium carbonation

Pours straw yellow with a nice foamy head. Very dry with some sweetness and a bitter ending. Not my favorite style but pretty good.

Bottle, 33 cl. Pours out \\yellow-golden coloured in glass, with a nice dense head. With lots of bubbles in the glass. Also with a bit of yeast. Aroma is with citrus, somewhat herbal (coriander?), ornage peels. Tastes fresh, acidic, bitter hoppy, with a bit of caronation in mouth. Medium to full-bodied, average to long, someewhat dry finish, nice!

I’ve just had a little 0,3 l Bottle, but even couldn’t prevent the explosion FX. I was too slow. Poured hazy golden color with huge, frothy white head and some lace. Fresh fruity on the nose with quince, pear, vanilla and biscuity notes. The malt profile is easy, biscuity and fruity. Peppery yeast with moderate floral hops. Good balance between the dry spices and the fruity malts in the mouthfeel. Dry, floral finish that lingers for a while. Medium bodied with medium alcohol warmth, soft yeasty texture, high carbonation. Fine Saison.
