Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 12, 2008 Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a lazing thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty and fruity, while the flavor is sweet with notes of dusty hops and fruit, leading to a dry finish.

LIghtly musty toffee malt and grassy hops. Clear copper color with moderate head. Dry musty toffee malt flavor. Drier than the average saison. tlind2 (226), Helsinki, Finland Jun 12, 2008 Slightly cloudy amber color, thick off-white head. Sweet malty aroma. Flavor is dominated by caramel and fruit, with medium bitterness. Not bad. Fin (2188), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Jun 9, 2008 Bottle, picked u at Dranken Geers, Gent, Belgium, March 2008 Pours mid amber, plenty of floaters and this beer is very quickly murky. Really surprised this is a saison, tastes quite sweet some caramel, soft molassess, some fruitiness, aroma is spicy and sweet, tastes a little like a weakly carbonated Dr Pepper. This is fine but just not what I expected of a Saison.
