Commercial Description:
Saku Abbey valmistamiseks kasutatakse spetsiaalselt valitud saksa humalaid, millest üht on eriliselt töödeldud aroomi intensiivistamiseks kibedust oluliselt tõstmata. Õlle kaunis kõrbepunane värv annab kõigile märku õllenautija heast maitsest.

Beer from 0,5L bottle in one bar in countryside. Maybe best before was passed, I didn’t see the bottle. Amber color, floral aroma. Flavor is fruity, but can feel chemical notes (some Estonian beerlovers think that that beer is Saku Rock and brewery add some chemical extracts). Finish is bitter. And on the next morning ...my head, oh.

Bottle. A amber beer with a big off-white head. The aroma is floral and of bubble gum, so is the taste, light fruity. Medium body with a sweet dry finish.

Bottle. [Great two day tasting session @ Papsoe] Average bubbly beige head that mostly diminished. Light cloudy amber color. Spare lacework. First impression was fruit ice-tee with some light notes of citrus. Over the palate light toasted malt, grain toffee. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with light acidic. Sweet fruit finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish, lightly perfumy nose. Medium body with sweetish, fruity accents. Almost no bitterness. Rather nice but not very Belgian in style. 120108
