Aroma is skunky hops, malts and some metallic hints. Flavour is sweet malts along with biting hops. Some very erathy and grassy notes in aftertaste. Crisp carbonation. TBone (6850), Pori, Finland

Golden color with lively carbonation, decent white head. Sweetish corn-aroma, even a bit honeyish and lemony. Starts with soft palate, later some harsh notes. Overall quite sweet with honey-like flavors. Mildly malty aftertaste. Clean, sweetish and boring lager, slightly more interesting than the Saku Original. sayravai (3777), Helsinki, Finland

Clean aroma of sweetish, lemony-corny malt with hints of honey. Not metallic like the regular Kuld. Sweetish, mildly honeyish-malty flavor with lemon-grassy notes and medium bitterness. Light to medium-bodied with a bit sharp carbonation - still easy to drink, as it’s not very acidic. In its class, Kuld is a quite successful attempt to combine the sweet-honeyish Eastern European lagers with the clean and tasteless ones of the Nordic countries. I believe this could gain popularity among the masses. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Very pale, scummy head. Sweet fruity aroma. Pale lager fingerprint, but this has at least a noticeable sweet malty body a curious almondy and cherry twist to the taste. Some metallic grassy hops too. It’s those damn pellets - they’re as far away from ’velvety’ as you can get. Pushed in 2 directions here - it’s much bigger than the weak piss, but has several drawbacks too. Rather malty beer, but it is nothing above the ordinary. Some hops add al little, but there is not enough dryness to make up for the malty sugar. No need for all the colourful boasts on the can! Rune (2851), Tromsø, Norway

Modest smell of sweet fruits. Some notes of citric fruits and earthy malts in the taste. Comes off as a rather bland Nordic lager (shared with Finn H. at a party in Tromsø, 04.04.2009). | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 18, 2008 500 ml can, thanks to KnutAlbert. ABV is 4.5%. Normally the "export" version of a beer is stronger than the "ordinary" version, but in this case it is weaker! Crystal clear very pale golden colour, big white head. Moderate fruity aroma, citrus and candy. Light bodied, thin mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet and sugary, with minimal hops. Not much to write home about here - nor to export. berkshirejohn (1831), Bracknell, Berkshire, England
