| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 20, 2005 Bottle (500ml). Poured almost clear pale gold with a big foamy white head. Aroma’s moderately nasty - corn, chemical, bit of skunky malt - cheap EuroLager. Taste isn’t bad - somewhat sweet malt, wet cardboard, mild grain and cleanly free of most adjuncts - gets a tad harsh on warming. Mouthfeel a bit oily and flat. I’ve had Eurolagers way worse than this rated a lot higher. Dorqui (1365), Brescia, Italy
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Oct 11, 2005 Limited and much fading head. Yellow limpid color, clearly and little bubbly. Apparently extinguished and firm. Light malty scent, enough acceptable. Firm but fresh taste, detaches malty and grainy rumors. Balanced and little pungent, pleasant on the end. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | May 14, 2005 (According to this bottle, it’s 4,6 alc%) Golden regular lagercolor. fizzy head disappears quickly. Aroma is very hoppy and not bad. But the beer itself is too carbonated for my taste. It lacks roundness and body. And as usual with baltic beers there’s a metallic tang. The palate is very hoppy and ot particularly pleasant. Papsoe (15180), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 6, 2005 One of the better Estonian beers I have had, while being extremely similar in almost every respect to everything else I have encountered, this one is among my favorites. Cheap and decent. Jukkabro (3039), Tampere, Finland
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 31, 2005 ABV 5.2%. Standard lager color, no head. Mildly sweet and honey aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor has also some sweet honey tones, ends with some metallic notes and lasting sweetness. Also mild alcohol comes up. No carbonation. oh6gdx (9125), Vasa, Finland
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 21, 2005 Bottled. Yellow coloured with big white head. Malt and hops in aroma. Very smooth taste compared to aroma. Mainly malt and hops in taste. Semi-bitter taste. Disappointment compared with other Saku’s I’ve had. cfranz (261), Acton, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 16, 2005 I did not mind this beer. It kind of reminded me of the beers I would drink when I lived in the Soviet Union, which were, admittedly, kind of crappy (Zhigulevskoe, anybody). A beer distributor once told me that he would not stock Russian beers because he did not like the taste of cardboard. Yeah, this sort of tastes like cardboard. But in a good way.
