| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 3, 2007 This one is the Christmas version, but it’s supposedly the same as the "normal" porter. It’s black/brown with a moderate head. The aroma has notes of coffee, a bit of chocolate, licorice, berries and alcohol and it has an OK bitterness. I think the alcohol is too dominant in the flavour. spporras (260), Finland

Dark red brown colour and brownish, average size, more or less fully diminishing head with faint lacing. Sweet, burned, coffee, licorice, slightly caramel and slightly bitter flavour. Softly carbonated, medium-bodied palate with a hint of alcohol. The best Saku brew I’ve tasted so far! 15/12/06 Tranquillity (1174), Espoo, Finland
