Salitos Tequila

Appearance looked pretty dull, yellow golden body with no head. Smell was just limes, taste wasn’t much better, can pick up the tequila if you are looking for it.

33cl bottle. It poured a pale yellow colour with a medium white foamy head that settled down fast in the glass. The aroma smells of lime and malts. The flavour is bittersweet and tastes of lime/lemon and a hint of tequila. It has a short aftertaste. Not as much a beer as soda with lemony flavour and alcohol.

Sampled at EBF2008. Pours a very pale yellow beer, crystal clear. The beer has a white head. The aroma is lemon and citrus. The flavor is citrus with some acidity. The mouthfeel is fresh. The overall impression after tasting this beverage is more a lemonsoda than a beer.

Bottle @ Argentine restaurant. Pale golden colour, thin white head. Sweet aroma of lemon, very faint lager notes. Flavour is sweet, lemon, tequila. One is more than enough.

01/08 0.33 l bottle from Interspar in BTC, Ljubljana. Golden bodied with medium head that went down immediately. Quite fine lemon and orange peel aroma mixed with hints of tequilla. Too sharp, so killed all the beer, which is potentialy malted. Lime flavor with notes of beer in form of honey malt. Sweetish lime, but at the same time sharp from lot of carbonation. I didn’t expect so much, well, interesting, I like this one more than similar spiced pale lagers. But boring and unnecessary anyway.
