Lean boadied, it has more dry, lightly roasted malt flavor than else. Average, not bad but boring. Pyobon (275), Sydney, Australia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 9, 2009 Draught @ Salm. Clear dark reddish brown with good beige head. Little aroma. Medium body, very well carbonated. Very little taste - watery dark malt and nothing else detectable (but note that watery only applies to the taste, the body is quite substantial). Not bad, but disappointingly very bland. MartinT (5075), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Toasted and caramel malts benefit from berry-like fruitiness to diversify this cheery and sweet Dunkel.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-The cloudy dark red is topped by a creamy head of foam.
-This is quite Polotmavé-like!
-The finish recalls French toast and earthy dryness.
-The mouthfeel is round and chewy yet very easygoing.
-This is sweeter than any other Slam brew I have had.
