Draught at the brewpub
Muddy blond color; creamy head. Light cereals aroma. Quite simple, with a rather smooth body, light cereals flavors; balanced. Easy.

On tap at the brewpub on my last night in Vienna. Nice location near Belvedere. Color was a cloudy dull gold. Aroma of sweet malt and bread. Flavor was bready, cirsp with some sweet malt. Nice and soft on the palate. Good for the style.

My Bottom Line:
This perilously drinkable unfiltered Helles is proof there is purity in simplicity. Crisp straw, herbal hops, healthy dextrins, all in unison, all honest. Wow.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A thick head of foam decorates the hazy straw blond.
-The creamy mouthfeel just keeps on giving.
-Is it me or there are some tropical fruit allusions in the interplay of residual sugars and hops?
-Effervescence lightens the mouthfeel.

On tap at the brewpub.
