Clear dark nut brown color, small off-white head. Cold coffee in the nose. Crisp, coffeish, toasted and chocolaty malty, but light drink. Fits nicely in style and is by far the best beer had at brewpub.

A good dunkel. Very dark brown. Tan head. Hard to smell over the smoke but I am in the brewpub so this is in their control. some caramel, light malt and roasted flavor. Not up to many Czech interpretations of the style.

Sampled draught at the brewpub.
Brown with airy head. Clean and hard, fairly sweet and overcarbonated. Beneath the lacquered surface it is roasty and nutty. Low bitterness.
