Salopian Fly by Night

Cask at the Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury, Salop, 19-10-07 Poured golden with a thin white head, an aroma that was quite light, but it was a little florally hops. Tasted great, a nice old fashioned bitterness about this that kept the sweetness at bay and sat at the back and roof of the mouth. A nice beer in a lovely pub though it was trumped somewhat by Loz’s Dark Star Hophead. I thought the abv of this was 4.5% but I note on all other websites I’ve looked at for more information on this beer they quote it at 4%
