May 31, 2008 Cask at the Trafalgar with Mes, 25th April 2008. Yellow gold in colour with a full-on apricot aroma. Alas, the soapy apricot sweetness overwhelms the hops and ruins the experience.

Should this be down as a fruit? I’m not sure. Awesome gold colour with an excellent white head and utterly fantastic condition, close to a 5. Good aroma of big hoppage and MASSIVE apricot. Sadly what is good about the fruit in the aroma stifles the flavour considerably. For all that the hops are decent and the bitterness on the finish is lovely it’s just killed but the way over the top apricot.
