Ole_R (1183), Oslo, Norway Jul 14, 2008 Bottle from Saluhallen, Ystad (both 3,5% and 3,3% stated on the front label). Thin greyish head. Cloudy orangey, low carbonatied body. Sour-fruity vinegar aroma. Light malty initial flavor. Then some acid fruits before the vinegar kicks in. Good body for an 3,3% beer. Sour ending. Foul bottle, of coarse. Re-rate pending.
rlgk (3014), Motala, Sweden Jul 31, 2008 Bottle. Somewhat hazy golden color, ok white head. Rather sweet aroma, notes of fruits and berries. Bad hoppy metallic flavor. yngwie (3454), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 29, 2008 Bottle, thx to Ole_R. A slightly hazy, golden beer with a minimal off-white head. Sourish, vinegary and lemony aroma, obviously something wrong going on, but it’s not completely bad. The flavor has lemon and vinegar too, as well as a fruityness, mostly apples and pears, but lacks bitterness. Medium body and sour finish. The beer feels sort of refreshing in the heat, but it’s obvious something has gone bad. Another thing that surely had gone bad with this beer, was the label design. It stated both 3.3% ABV and 3.5% ABV. Drank and forgotten. (080708) larsga (2141), Oslo, Norway Jul 9, 2008 Medium offwhite head does not last. Hazy orangey body. Floral fruity tomato vinegar aroma. Dry acidic peas and vinegar taste. Not much else going on. Clearly infected. Yuck! (0.5l bottle from Ole_R. Must rerate.) larsniclas (2794), Gothenburg, Sweden Jun 28, 2008 Bottled. Thx rlgk.
Hazy golden with a brief, white head.
Sweetish aroma with notes of berries and medicine.
Pretty thin with unpleasant notes of metallic sulphur.
Pretty dry. Very low bitterness.
