Don’t get me wrong, its still a light beer and its score reflects such, but its about as good as you can expect from a "light" beer. This is my beer of choice for large parties because its decent enough to serve to real beer drinkers and "macro" chuggers alike, and at a good price. Color is light copper. Aroma and flavor are primarily a mix of various malts, with considerably less hoppiness than the Boston Lager. mrmojo (37), Edmond, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Ok a light beer, but not as bad as the Big 3. Bottle, pours a penny color with a little egg-shell head. A little sweet and a very little hop taste... not a SA Lager. No real aftertaste good or bad. Not a bad starter for someone’s beer start. If drinking light (why) its better than the evil empires. Bailz316 (221), Mendham, New Jersey, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Probably the best light beer Ive had. Much less flavorful than Boston Lager, but it doesnt taste like water, which cant be said for most of its mass-produced light counterparts. RiverHorse (454), New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 3, 2007 This is the best light beer out there right now. The beer pales in comparison to "real beers", but it should be at least commended for trying to bring a little taste to the light beer market? Shouldn’t it???? TyRip (40), Canton, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 1, 2007 As a light beer, it is way above the rest. I rated it as a light, however, not in the same style as other heartier beers I like. It has a surprisingly good aroma for a light, and is quite enjoyable. It is just not up to what I normally desire for a beer. kibble48 (14), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 27, 2007 light body, thin feel, soft carbonation, long finish. I rated this beer on a light beer scale. Seeing as though I don’t like light beers that much this beer really suprised me as to how much I really enjoyed it. Its actually good for being a lower version of its Boston Lager counterpart. it’s a bit on the watery side, with a very tangy aftertaste. i didn’t quite enjoy it, but it’s by far the best American light beer i’ve ever had. cking (1023), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2007 Rated 10/6/06: Probably one of the best "lights" on the market, I’ve had this a while back and as luck would find due one of these snuck into my Sammy’s variety pack. Light malty aroma nothing wrong here, pours a nice light copper small head little left on the glass. Mouthfeel is fuller than most but still thin considering. Good taste, I prefer more but this is a light. If you are a worried beer drinker this may be for you, If you enjoy beer, spend your cash on the real thing.
