ebrowner88 (113), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Apr 11, 2008 Pours a golden color. More color then most lacro lagers. 1 finger head that stays a long time. Nose is malty pear. Tast is malty but not as sweet as the nose would let on. It does taste a little watered down for a "craft beer" but still the best tasting light I have had. A very good session beer.
ratman197 (2344), Arvada, Colorado, USA Oct 2, 2008 Bottle poiured a clear light amber with a small disapating ivory head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, light fruittiness and a hint of spice. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, graininess, earthiness and light spice with a crisp malty finishj. Mirage52 (113), New Market, Maryland, USA Oct 2, 2008 Leave it to Sam Adams to create a "light beer" with more flavor and character than any of the other macro regular beers. Sam Adams isn’t exactly a "lets get drunk!" kind of beer maker, but this could be. Very drinkable. Pours a light copper color, nice sized head with not many bubbles. Taste is smooth, with just a hint of the hop finish from regular Sam Adams Lager. Reminds me of a lighter version of Yuengling. borgination (78), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Sep 27, 2008 Great light beer. Doesnt have much taste but it is very smooth. Good beer to drink in mass quantities. Butters (421), Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee, USA Sep 12, 2008 Certainly reminds me of a regular boston lager. Crystal clear light amber body with quickfading head. Nice balanced hop flavor. Some butter. Slick on the tongue. Not too bad for a light beer. Blizzer34 (25), New Jersey, USA Sep 7, 2008 stick with the boston lager..this beer is just that but a watered down version still good though nonetheless.
