Straw color; small, white head; tiny, lively bubbles. Aroma of bready malt, light apple juice; barely grassy. Flavor is bready malts; light caramel; surprisingly and perhaps inappropriately hoppy. Medium-light body; slightly sticky. Hoppier than I would like, but drinkable.

Jul 5, 2008 Pours a clear golden color with a white head that retains well and leaves a decent lacing. Smell of straw and faint grassy hops. A bit of straw in the taste, sweet honey, a slightly grassy flavor and maybe a hint of nut. Pretty highly carbonated with an almost medium body. I was actually surprised; this was really good I thought. This is a beer that can keep the BMC crowd happy, as well as the people who prefer those with more character. I sound like a commercial in the previous sentence, but whatever, this is good and certainly worth a looking for.

Apr 21, 2008 Not bad at all, not extremely complex, but that is not really what they were going for here. On the lighter side, with some grassy hoppiness, somewhat floral, some cereal grain maltiness, a quick finish that is somewhat earthy and dry, and disappears from the palate as quickly as it came.
