brentfeesh (1030), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Apr 17, 2008 12 oz bottle. Amber honey pour. Sweet aroma that has both malt caramel and fruit with is very believable as grape. The flavor is a blend of fruit beer, apple cider and IPA. Strange and I don’t care for it. The combo of flavors just don’t work for me. The bitter does not mesh well with the grape…Yuk. Medium creamy semi-sticky mouth feel that adds to the gross factor. I’ll not drink it again. philbertk (25), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 17, 2008 Dense rich lacy white head.Clear thin bright amber color.Mild white grape floral hop front..Creamy bisquit caramel doughy mild sweet maple hint smooth body.Cloying malt, smooth mellow hop clean satisfying end.Smooth tasty grape notes. carboloader (318), Houston, Texas, USA Apr 16, 2008 Pours orange-amber with quickly dissipating head. Generic aroma of corn or hay. Taste is interesting with a carbonation bite at first, and then sweet malt. It tastes like a generic ale with some grape juice dripped in. Interesting, but not great, and not a session beer to repeat several times -- it seems too sweet to me.
jsquire (2086), St. Marys, Ohio, USA Apr 16, 2008 Amber colored beer with a frothy off white head. Light sweet nose that I will say has green grape in it only because of the name of the beer. Boy, I just don’t get a lot of "fresh green seedless grape" in this. Sweet beer with light maltiness, breadiness, and a tart fruitiness that I guess could be grape. It seems like a pretty generic Pale Ale, with some non-descript fruit to it. emacgee (1859), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Apr 16, 2008 Shared this with poor Turd. Poured a decent looking brew. Copper amber with a one finger frothy offwhite head. Doesn’t look special but doesn’t look bad. Then I smelled it...smelled bad. On a related note it tasted bad as well. The aroma was grassy, hay, sweet, caramel, sweet fruit. The flavor was a little offensive and astringent, grassy, cornish, sweet fruity element, maybe a little bitter. Not too hot, TURDFERGUSON (1594), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Apr 16, 2008 Just drank this swill. This is a decent bitter pale with some grape juice added. Sorry I called it swill, but It just did not taste very good. Sweet malts, light bitterness, grape sweetness. meh. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA Apr 13, 2008 Pours a clear copper with a fizzy head and spotty lace. Aroma is lightly sweet caramel, bready grains, grapes and yeasty. Flavor is toasted malt with some grape and dark fruit. Thin mouth feel, sweet fruity finish. I must say this was better than I was expecting. bigtaster (184), Grand Rapids, USA Apr 13, 2008 Poured a deeper and clear golden color with a large sized white head. Aromas of grains, grass, light caramel, and some grapes. Tastes of caramel, citrus, and a berry / grapiness. Good experiment but not quite delicious.
