Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Apr 13, 2008 This wasn’t as bad as I expected. A little thin but drinkable. Aroma is of a pale lager with a weak grape smell. Taste brings out the aroma of grape more than just smelling it. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Apr 13, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a rich offwhite head with copper color. Aroma is caramel-medium malt, secondary earthy hops, light/medium fruit. Taste is balanced caramel-medium malt, earthy/spicey hops, light/medium fruit. OK/mild carbonation. mtdshn (174), Moline, Illinois, USA Apr 13, 2008 You know, I don’t think this beer is as terrible as a lot of people have said. This is definitely my personal opinion as I tend to like lighter beers with a slight amount of citrus/fruit scent or flavor to them. This one came out of the LongShot mix pack and poured very flat with just a ring of head. An all around typical pale ale with just a small amount of grape fruitiness and tartness. Smooth, goes down easy with just a slight amount of biting hops and grape tartness. This definitely isn’t the best fruit beer ever produced, but it’s good, light, refreshing and sometimes beers like this are good ones to enjoy. Props to Lili. Tweety (337), Vancouver, Washington, USA Apr 12, 2008 12 oz. bottle. This one’s a mess. Lots of interesting flavors, but they don’t blend well. At all. Interesting concept, horrible execution. Codythegreat (133), Carrollton, Georgia, USA Apr 11, 2008 It wasn’t so bad. I only tasted the grape after I had a few. I probably wouldn’t get it again though. I drank this out of the bottle. TPaliga (212), Munster, Indiana, USA Apr 10, 2008 Pours nice golden copper with thin head. Aroma of light hops some sourness comes through. Body is light. Flavor is slightly bitter with some fruity esters. Not my favorite. Wierd lasting finish. BückDich (4785), McCall, Idaho, USA Apr 10, 2008 Bottle: Pours a copper color with a light white head and nice lacing. Nose of light toasty wheat, crisp noble hops and a touch of fruit which comes off as yeast esters. The flavor is chewy with a basic NW cookie-cutter brewpub pale ale mouthfeel but has a really odd out of place fruit extract twang. I can see the grape, but I think it’s subconscious. I would have seen this as extract twang otherwise. Decent finish. Longshot indeed. jeremytoni (1069), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Apr 8, 2008 From a bottle poured amber with a good amount of head. Flavor of sweet malt with not much of a grape flavor. Flavored with molasses, and ending with a quick finish.
