Commercial Description:
Created by Samuel Adams Employee Lili Hess, Hawaii This is a very creative spin on a pale ale. As Lili describes it, "It’s like you are drinking a pale ale after biting into a fresh green seedless grape." This delicate brew is light-bodied with unique sweet, yet dry flavors from the grapes. What a combination...

Red copper color with frothy white head. Soft fruit nose with some hops. Flavor is some bright grape mixed with a very basic pale ale.

Clear copperish amber with minimal head. Smells sweet and syrupy with apple and grape; yeasty and caramel/toffee (ala british pale ale) undertones. No hops. Not sure I get any more grape or any extra fruit in the flavor than I would a British pale ale. Very estery, banana, apple, pear and maybe some rum notes. No hops. Not a bad British Pale Ale, if you like that sort of thing.

Certainly a different take on Pale Ale. Didn’t quite hit the Pale Ale mark nor was the grape flavor enough to get that fruit beer feeling. Refreshing, though, just a bit too light-bodied for my taste.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured clear copper with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting and produced fair lacing. Medium fruity hoppy aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium tart citrus flavor with a medium sweet finish of average duration. Interesting drinkable beer.

this is a fruit beer with no fruit. Not in the aroma or the finish. It drinks real easy and is very smooth. I thought it was just okay. I drinks more like a pale lager than a fruit beer.

12 oz bottle. There is practically no aroma, the beer pours a amber color with little head. The taste is pretty enjoyable. Surprisingly easy to drink, smooth and light. The fruit is not over dominating like with many fruit beers.

I don’t find this beer to be excessively sweet, it is quite fruity though. One gets the impression of grape skin on the finish that blends with the very light hops in an interesting way. Might be worth a shot if you’re desperate for something new.
