Commercial Description:
Created by Rodney Kibzey, Illinois Rodney describes his wonderfully complex brew as "deep amber in color with a full creamy body and a dark fruit and clove aroma." This traditional Bavarian style brew took Rodney a few batches to perfect, but the taste is worth all of his hard work.

Great one from the LongShot series. Murky amber-brown pour with a large tan head that settles to an inch in thickness. Splotchy lacing around the glass. An abundant aroma of wheat, raisins, brown sugar, banana and clove. Smells wonderful, very rich and inviting. Sweet and creamy on the palate, medium bodied and drinks with ease. Great flavor that is spot on with the respective style. Banana and figs mixed with some subtle dark fruits. Sweet brown sugar and dry wheat malt. Spicy clove and anise flavors round out the wonderful flavor. Well made, a great beer to be had.

12 oz bottle. Poured an opaque-ish brown with a decent head. Aromas of banana, clove, and some darker malts that was very pleasing and fairly strong. Taste is like a meal in a glass. With darker more prominent malt notes yet the esters and banana / clove feel of a weiss. Strong flavor and strong aromas leave me impressed by this beer, albeit unable to session this. Best of the Longshot brews this year in my opinion.

Aroma of caramel malt with banana notes. Hazy brown color with a white head that came out flat. Strong clove aroma as the glass approached the nose. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Lots of clove flavor with a dark roasted wheat backbone. Plus there’s banana. The finish is fairly dry, fairly bitter, a bit toasted, and cloved. Quite a product.

Small head, pours a very cloudy brown color. decent amount of carbonation. Really thick mouth feel. first initial taste is bubble gum with a slight burnt after taste. I can taste the alcohol, I think it would be a nice warm up for the winter.

I didnt know what to expect comming into this beer. It is my first of the longshot beers. It poured a dark copper brown with great head and a froathy lacing. Tasted sweet but also had a hint of clove or spice, but not too much. Smooth and gives a good palate feel. Nice beer.

The best LongShot IMO. Muddy brown with a nice tan head. Sweet and fruity aroma with chocolate and dark fruits as well as yeast. Clove, banana, dark fruit, light roast, and chocolate in the flavor. I really like this style.

From a bottle poured dark brown with a lof of fluffy off-white head. Sweet malt flavor with a lingering finish.

Pours a hazy dark amber with rich, creamy white head. Smells very much like bread or cereal, with some clove and banana notes, but also a strong hint of sewage. Very rich and creamy taste, with many flavors being revealed with each sip. Cinnamon, clove, pepper, bananas, and cherries with malty sweet, slightly acidic finish. Not a bad weizenbock at all.
