Commercial Description:
Created by Rodney Kibzey, Illinois Rodney describes his wonderfully complex brew as "deep amber in color with a full creamy body and a dark fruit and clove aroma." This traditional Bavarian style brew took Rodney a few batches to perfect, but the taste is worth all of his hard work.

Cloudy brown pour with a half-inch white head. Bready, grainy malt aroma with a touch of clove.Sharp, tangy, earthy wheat flavor and a nice full body. Nice.

Bottle. Enjoy goofy hand-drawn cover art. Even more pleased with the beer itself. Malt aroma, cloves. Mahogany brown, quarter inch head. Thick palate, undertones of fruit. Strong brew, scored with my boyfriend after sharing this beer. Recommended, top notch for a macrobrewery.

12oz bottle. Surprisingly righteous brew from some random guy in Illinois. Not bad, Rodney. Dark brown with a thin white head and medium-high carbonation. Aroma is phenolic with banana and some yeast. Tastes a little like a Belgian ale with dark fruit flavors, but also the banana/clove taste you expect from a weizenbock. Not too unlike Schneider Aventinus. Complex yet refreshing. Very drinkable. Can floor you before you know it.

330ml bottle - ticks all the style guidelines boxes. Wonderful spicy rich vanilla aroma, light phenols. Murky brown to look at but wonderful mouthfeel. Sweet rich dark fruits, more vanilla and a touch milk chocolate. Lingers and warms with an almost sherry like finish. Superb.

"I just love smelling it. I could smell it all day," my friend just remarked. And, for good reason. The beer has a delicious sweet bread aroma. And, then the beer backs up the aroma with an amazing smooth, but full body. Not much german yeast ester like banana. A little clove... maybe? Overall, a great easy drinking, full beer. Great for the cold days.

12oz Bottle: Dark brown with a creamy khaki head. Aroma is of sweet malts and candied sugar with a hint of clove. Full bodied with bold spicy, yeasty flavors mixed with some banana, clove and roasted malts. Slightly grainly as well. Has a slight burn going down and a sweet finish. Honestly, I wasnt expecting it to be this good. Pleasant surprise for sure.
