Jun 8, 2008 12 oz. bottle: This one pours a quite opaque darker brown color. There was a bit of a creamy tan head on it that dropped off some what quickly and left a little lacing. There is definitely some, but not overly so, clove to the nose. Malts and fruits in there also, but they have a hard time getting past the clove. The taste is good. There is a somewhat creamy texture to the beer. Just slightly sweet, with clove and other spices dominant. Slightly bitter finish. Nice.

Jun 6, 2008 Had this bottle in Gloucester VA. It was a very cloudy, brown and milky beverage, carbonation just a tad too high, but big taste, sweet, spicy, and lingering. Not much head but a really complex beeras touted.

May 30, 2008 Pours a transluscent murky brown/amber colour with a creamy off-white head that fades to a solid cap. The nose is full of banana/clove, fig and dark fruit aromas. The flavour is characterized by the typical banana/clove flavour along with spicy bubblegum yeast, cocoa, dark fruits, bready malts and wheat. There is some earthy caramel sweetness poking through as well, adding to the complexity. It is just bitter enough to keep it from being cloyingly sweet and the finish is nice and long. The booze is well hidden by ample flavour and body. The texture is creamy and medium bodied with low, yet sharp carbonation. It is certainly medium dry as advertized and nice representation of the style.
