gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway May 3, 2008 Bottle. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is rosted, caramel, malt. Flavour is roasted, dry, malt, caramel, sour. Drinkable beer. yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 30, 2008 Bottle. A clear, dark brown beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is fruity with a sour touch, but not in the usual infected Samsø way. Roasted, slightly sourish flavor with caramel maltyness. Rather weak and boring. Medium body. Caramel and roasted malt in the finish. Contrary to most Samsø beers I’ve had, this one lacks (fortunately) the heavy infection. It’s sure drinkable, but oh so boring.
