(Bottle 0,5l) Roasty malt and coffee aroma. Minimal brown head. Clear dark brown color. Light bitter-sweet and cocoa taste. Well balanced. Light sticky. Light fizzy. Bitter finish.

0.5 L bottle from a supermarket in Praha. Dense two-finger head with a light tan. Body is clear, dark brown colored. Grainy, slight nutty malt aroma with cocoa notes. Fairly dry, light malt body. Faint fruity, some acidity. Pepper notes, roast, mildly hopped. Thinnish body, kind of watered down mouthfeel. Short, dryish finish. A decent Dunkel, nothing more.

50cl bottle, local store. Pours dark color, nice white head. Malt and caramel aroma. Chocolate and roasted malty flavour, a little too sweet for my taste.

Bottle brown, 500 ml, got it in Trinec, Czech Republic.
Appearance: Pours very essential and dark, deep rubby-red and perfectly clear body, carbonation of the bod yis gentle, head is off-white, cappuccino like in colour, initially medium, firm and stable, slowly decreasing to small, frothy in texture, leaving gentle lacing.
Aroma: Whipped cream, toffee, coffee, nuts, some roasted barley grains, Munich malt, chockolate, cappuccino, cane sugar, vanilla, cacao, typical Bohemian Dunkel being much more roasted than Classic German Dunkel, very inviting to drinking, some flowery hoppyness, hoppy profile is gentle.
Flavour: Very nice, strongly roasted barley grains, a lot of dark Munich malt and chockolate malt, milk and dark chockolate, vanilla stick, cane sugar, caramell, coffee, cacao, some notes of toffee, generally sweet malty base is dominating over the flavour, however, later on in the aftertaste you can feel comfortable hoppyness binding your tongue and giving some additional flowery-leavy retro-nasal impressions. Finish duration is long and satisfyingly pleasant.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is dry, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel is highly astringent, moderately chalky, dusty, pleasant and long lasting.

500 ml. Clear chestnut with a lasting quarter inch of creamy foam. Aroma is mostly rubber (green bottle) with an undercurrent of earth-spiced toasted nut. Flavor is molasses, corn and cocoa with some light grassy hops on the finish. Nice sudsy lacing on the glass. Medium body is a tad to the sticky side, but drinkable and surprisingly crisp on the finish.

500 ml bottle. Finland. Dark brown colour with small tan head. Sweet dark malty aroma. Sweetish flavour with brown sugar and some roastedness and weak hoppiness. Bitter hoppiness comes up when it’s getting warmer.

500ml bottle. Haven’t had a Czech beer in quite some time...Deep chestnut brown, with slight amber hues. Minimal, but ever-present beige head. The aroma is sweet, lots of sugary chocolate. I’m pretty sure I ingested weird plastic-like particulates..not cool. Other than that, this beer was pretty nice. Especially with the $1.49 price tag. Medium bodied, with lots of brown sugary sweetness. A little too much like Malta or some nonsense like that honestly, not the best Dunkel out there. Overall it is what it is, an example of Eastern European beer...the super sweet low alcohol Dunkel.
