| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours amber/gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of noble hop. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is lightly sweet, pale malt, with some grassy/herby bitter. It’s passibly bitter. Flavor tends to leak away. Could be crisper and cleaner, but a nice brew. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 26, 2009 50cl bottle. Yellow-golden colour, surprisingly small and shortlived white head. Strong malty aroma, but the taste is Lager-like: Faint malty notes, but not much else on the palate. Finish is a bit sour, with very little aftertaste. Watery, but not exactly thin mouthfeel. Unimpressive, I’m afraid. Among Bohemian Pilseners I’d favor the maltier, altogether more characterful Gambrinus. Skinnyviking (4170), Copenhagen, Denmark
