Reddish/gplden pour with stong strong aroma of mustyness is the best descripton. Definite barrel age taste with hints of sour vanilla. It was odd. I did not hate it, it was interesting. puzzl (2619), New York, New York, USA

Believe it or not they nailed one that was at this fest though, the 6 year old (!) unblended lambic, but that isn’t the beer in question here. This one poured gold (huh?) with an oaky, buttery, light vanilla nose. Notes of grilled cheese/American cheese confuse my palate. The weird savory balance really throws this one off. It is actually decently close to an Oud Bruin in a weird way but they’ve still got a lot of work to do on this one. More sour, less, err, grilled cheese. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2009 sample at NotF. Pours a red syrupy note with no head. Nose is pungent, very strong and musty. Palate is smooth and syrupy. FLavors of light biscuit and toast, the brett leaves a cheesey note and its very sour and overwhelming in the mouth.
