Commercial Description:
This traditional lager is medium in body with a deep roasted character. Its dark color and rich malty flavor come from specially roasted caramel and chocolate malts. This brew is lightly hopped with Noble Bavarian hops for a soft spiciness and a smooth clean finish. Cheers!

Bottle. Pours midnight black, small tan head. It has a mild, roasted aroma, a smooth, creamy roated flavor, a medium body, and a fairly clean finish.

Bottle. Pours blackish amber with very fluffy and tall tan head. Smells of roast and malt and a tad sweet. Roasty hoppy taste actually conceals the lager flavor quite well at first. Mouthfeel is light but not watery. Finishes mostly clean with some lingering hops and lager flavor. A mostly uninteresting beer. The hops are really the only notable characteristic of this beer. Not bad but the boston lager actually has a more interesting flavor.

Pitch black color with a dirty diminishing head. Slight dark malr aroma. Burnt coffee notes, some hints of coffee. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. Nice roasted malt flavor. Not too bold or heavy. Not harsh on the palate, smooth smokey aftertaste. Would love to have on draft.

Smooth malty taste, pours with a good sized tan head. Nice beer for a lager, good intro for someone who never tried a dark beer.

The colour is almost black. Aroma contains coffee and chocolate. The taste is smooth with a flavour of roasted caramel and dark chocolate malts. The aftertaste is shortlived with a little bitterness. A very enjoyable beer!
