Commercial Description:
This traditional lager is medium in body with a deep roasted character. Its dark color and rich malty flavor come from specially roasted caramel and chocolate malts. This brew is lightly hopped with Noble Bavarian hops for a soft spiciness and a smooth clean finish. Cheers!

Graet appearance - deep brown black color with a thick tan head and decent lacing. Aroma of coffee and dark chocolate malt. Flavor is creamy, with dark chocolate and coffee balanced with a slight hoppiness. I think this is an excellent beer - nice dark flavor but smooth finish.

12oz bottle from Orland Park Binny’s single rack. Pours clear dark brown with light ran head. Aroma is very malty with chocolate and caramel. Flavor is malt, chocolate, some smoke and light caramel. Mouthfeel is a little light and watery. Not to bad.

Very malty aroma with nice flavor. Pours out of the bottle with a thick head that melts away quickly. Very drinkable and not heavy.

No head, yet carbonated. Medium light body. Roasted, dry, not complex. What is the difference between a black beer and a brown porter? (This is my first black beer) Watery/carbonated/fresh AND roasted/dry is for me an odd combination. Purchased in SuperBrugsen Hjørring.

12 ounce bottle pours dark brown with a bit of tan head. Nose is roast and chocolate with some light noble hop character. The flavor has some roast and its a bit bitter, but over all pretty bland.

Poured black with a nice small lacing tan head. Fine roasted malt and coffee aroma. Fine mouthfeel with a medium body, sweet caramel malt and some roasted taste, coffee and chocolate. Fine lager beer with relationship of the stout-style...
