Commercial Description:
This traditional lager is medium in body with a deep roasted character. Its dark color and rich malty flavor come from specially roasted caramel and chocolate malts. This brew is lightly hopped with Noble Bavarian hops for a soft spiciness and a smooth clean finish. Cheers!

12 oz bottle. brown-black pour with a medium to small tan head. smells of smoke and dark chocolate. taste of dried dark fruits and light sweet malt, caramel, coffee. seems like a porter to me. slight tingly bitter finish. not sure what it’s trying to be - but drinkable enough.

Pours black with a tan head. Roasty, sweet malty aroma. Heavyt malt flavor yet slightly hoppy and has a little bitter finish.

This beer pours out black, just like the name suggests. A two finger head forms on top and laces the glass, however, the head is a little short lived. The aroma smells mostly of roasted malts and some chocolate in there as well. The flavor is nicely mild, being dominated by the roasted and the chocolate malts

Dark brown color with small beige head. Aroma is a bit sweet, roasty malty with coffee. Flavor is syrupy malty with slightly bitter and dry aftertaste. Medium-bodied and low carbonated palate. OK but quite boring brew.

Dark color with an aroma of roasted grains. Surprisingly mild flavor, with a hint of chocolate. Easy going down with a good finish.

Getting notebook online. Bottle. Reddish hint to the beer’s thick black color. Creamy roasted smell. Smooth clean taste, chocolate/caramel malt taste. Very good beer, smooth taste makes it very easy to go down, very pleasant.

Pours very dark with short lived light brown head. Smell is strong of molasses and caramel. Nice and balanced sweetness with medium body. Almost no bitterness. This is a good quality lager with a warm fuzziness about it. I could drink this all night.
