Commercial Description:
This traditional lager is medium in body with a deep roasted character. Its dark color and rich malty flavor come from specially roasted caramel and chocolate malts. This brew is lightly hopped with Noble Bavarian hops for a soft spiciness and a smooth clean finish. Cheers!

Getting notebook online. Bottle. Reddish hint to the beer’s thick black color. Creamy roasted smell. Smooth clean taste, chocolate/caramel malt taste. Very good beer, smooth taste makes it very easy to go down, very pleasant.

Pours very dark with short lived light brown head. Smell is strong of molasses and caramel. Nice and balanced sweetness with medium body. Almost no bitterness. This is a good quality lager with a warm fuzziness about it. I could drink this all night.

This beer pours out black, just like the name suggests. A two finger head forms on top and laces the glass, however, the head is a little short lived. The aroma smells mostly of roasted malts and some chocolate in there as well. The flavor is nicely mild, being dominated by the roasted and the chocolate malts. Slightly hoppy and bitter.

Pours a deep clear mahogany, with garnet highlights and a quick fading light tan head. Aroma of chocolate and roasty characteristics is amplified in the flavor. A vegetal cocoa flavor is added. Body is medium with moderate carbonation.
