Pours rich black with light beige head. Smells of roasted malts and caramel. Tastes very roasty, coffee, burnt, chocolate with a subtle spicy hop finish. Nice

pours very deep brown with a thick tan head. very surprised on how smooth this beer is. very good.

Bottle. Nice deep brown color that appears black with a decent beige head. Aroma of some chocolate and a hint of roastiness. Light chocolate and caramel are the central flavors, some slight roastiness peaks through in the finish, but now much. A bit thin, but I am used to heavy imperial stouts, so it probably isn’t as thin as it seems. Still a pretty nice beer that I can enjoy.

Bottle.33cl. A schwarzbier and it is just right on. Caramel, coffee, nuts, brown in color. medium sweetness, medium body, creamy texture.

Chocolate/coffee on the nose. Dark brown/black. Seems a little off balance...could use some more malt. Palate was thin, nice carbonation, seemed nitrogen like (similar to their Scotch Ale). Not very remarkable.

Rich flavor of both chocolate and caramel is noticable on both the nose and the tongue. This beer has a malty roast that adds depth. It possesses an all day drinkability, though not really heavy enough to be a sipper.

Smells lightly floral with a malt overtone. Pours a deep brown almost black color, with a medium tan head that fades slowly. Tastes watery and light at the start followed by hints of chocolate and ending in its full flavor of toasted malts. Lightly carbonated with a smooth mouthfeel. Tasty in a pinch but nothing to write home about.

Brown with a fleeting tan head. Yeasty, toasted grain smell. Med body and smooth . Decent but mild taste is of dark roasted malts and toast. Finishes mildly bitter and clean. Tastes like many Macro dark lagars. 8905
