Aroma is burnt fruits, deep caramel, burnt toast, and a touch of diacetly. The body is med with a refreshing amount of CO2. The flavors are very much on the sweet end. Very malty with a lot of Munich muscle. The finish is sweet and lasting. While this is not what I see as a Schwarzbier, it is a very good American take on a style.

smooth and refreshing, especially if drank cold on a warm autumn day, hops barely detectable, too metallic, too top-of-the-tongue. BrianG (44), Big Stone Gap, Virginia, USA

Nose is roasted malt, spicy hops with some coffee and chocolate notes. Medium to full smooth body. Flavors begin with sweet roasted malts, chocolate and some earthy hops, while finish is dry with coffee notes. Quite tasty beer from SA. ljay6880 (163), , Pennsylvania, USA

Nose is roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, and a hint of earth. Taste is black liquorices, light caramel, and trademark lager characteristics. Kind of odd this brew, it tastes like the light, wet body/pallet of a lager, but somewhere threw in roasted malts and black liquorices. Not bad, but I can’t say I really like it either. Strange brew! aenimopiate (148), The United States of Texas, Texas, USA

This beer has a very clear and defined roasted taste and aroma. Not my favorite, but it’s not a bad beer. Niko100 (155), New York, USA
