TheGent (143), , Massachusetts, USA Nov 1, 2009 Must enjoy something that I can only get in Boston now that I live here. It is pretty much what you expect from an irish red with that red color and caramel malt. Glad I tried it and I would order again easily. halfonit (415), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA Oct 15, 2009 On tap. Has a clear amber color. Aroma was very light. It was mainly full of malts. Taste was pretty much the same. I was expecting a little more from these guys. MadIndian (987), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 10, 2009 On tap during the annual Boston/Salem/Marble head tour. Samled at the brewery. What a dissapointment the tour was this time around. This was the first year that you really felt rushed.
Anyway this beer had a red pour with thin off white head. Nasty metallic taste to it. The entire group did not like this one. TungstenGT (33), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Oct 5, 2009 I had this on a recent trip to Boston after a tour of the Samuel Adams brewery. I really enjoyed this beer and I think it is one of SA’s best brews. I only wish it was available outside of Boston.

Decent but not enough to order a second. Duhast500 (176), , Massachusetts, USA Aug 31, 2009 Poured from the tap into a pint glass.
The color is a deep red with an amber tint. Has some slight white foamy head, some nice lacing as well.
The smell is light, a mix of caramel and some roasted malts.
The taste is of roasted malt, somewhat like a good porter. Some strong caramel and brown sugar flavor. Is a bit creamy as well
This beer has a great feel to it, with a nice refreshing. crsip taste. It goes down easy and is pretty darn smooth.
alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 15, 2009 On tap at Bull and Finch. No head. Decent aroma of caramel and toffee malts. Dominant malt flavor with caramel and toffee present with some nuts and a touch of sweetness. Better than the Irish Red.
